Alphalete is pleased to offer repair, service, installation, and replacement for water heaters. We can repair and service just about any brand of water heater, as long as we can get the parts. We use a variety of sources for finding plumbing parts from a variety of brands.
Typically, a water heater replacement can be performed in the same day if we can diagnose the problem early enough in the day to pick up parts.
If a water heater has a problem that can be repaired, it’s usually due to the following issues:
- pilot light won’t light (or stay lit)
- pilot light assembly is defective
- burner assembly is broken
- gas valve not working properly
- T&P valve (temperature and pressure regulator) not working properly
Usually, those kinds of problems can be repaired with minimal hassle. If you have a water heater that’s leaking water, usually that’s a sign that the tank itself is leaking, and that means you’ll have to replace it altogether.
Fortunately, Alphalete’s licensed and insured plumbers can offer both repairs and replacements for a water heater that has gone bad.
We work with most major brands of conventional water heaters, including Rheem and AO Smith, and most major brands of tankless water heaters including Rinnai.
For new water heater installations, our standard offering is a Rheem natural gas water heater in the following sizes: 10, 30, 40, 50, & 75 gallons. (We can also install electric water heaters upon request, and additional brands if requested.)
Our standard warranty for new water heater installation is as follows: 12-year warranty on the water heater itself, with a one-year on labor. This means that if your water heater has a defect or stops working, the manufacturer will supply you with a new one at no cost for the 12 years after installation. You’ll only have to pay for the labor cost for replacement.
Our labor warranty means that if we installed the water heater improperly or you experience any issues within the first year, our technicians will return and fix the issue at no cost to you.
